What is GMAT?
This exam is taken by students who wish to pursue management courses abroad. Most management institutes use GMAT scores to screen candidates for admissions.
Sections: Analytical writing, quantitative and verbal assessment
Time: 3.5 hours
Cost: US$250
Frequency: The exam is conducted throughout the year at various test centres located across the country

Analytical writing assessment:
1 topic (30 minutes)
Integrated reasoning:
12 questions (30 minutes)
Quantitative:
37 questions (75 minutes)
Verbal: 41 questions (75 minutes)

“The Yellow Bean Café began advertising on our local radio station this year and was delighted to see its business increase by 12 percent over last year’s totals. Their success shows you how you can use radio advertising to make your business more profitable.”
Discuss how well reasoned this is.
