Cafe Haqq Se (For Two Persons Rs. 900)

CUISINE: North Indian, South Indian

BITES AND BOOZE:
Cafe Haqq Se believes in sticking to their roots and bringing back the almost extinct ancient Indian taste. We started with the mocktail Kairi Mary, a blend of Aam Panna and spices with a dash of Tabasco, with a Jaljeera-coated rim. The chilly-rubbed rim on the cocktail Firangi Narangi, a whiskey based drink infused with orange with hints of ginger hit the tongue with just the right amount of spice. For the appetisers, the Lacy Gul Kebab and the Bhuney Chicken Wings are a big hit. The place serves some great appetizers to please the vegetarian palate as well, Samudri Methi Ke Karare Bitoks being our favorite. For the mains, the Crab Mango Quorma and Wild Mushroom Kerala Fricassee along with Pan’Naan is an absolute delight. The authentic flavor of the curry made us nostalgic. We concluded the main course with Smoked Daal which was heavenly and Fragrant Ghee Bhaat which had a warm fragrance that increased our craving for it. Our scrumptious dining experience ended with a delightful Rossogolla White Mousse and Pista Jaam Pie.
FAB OR DRAB: When we entered the Café the first thing that caught our glimpse was the ‘Make in India’ symbol. The walls are full of beautiful artifacts and graffiti, each of them depicting India. Lovely Indian classical music and soft Bollywood music adds to the amazing dining experience. The Café also has unplugged music shows on the weekends which are an ebsolute must-visit.
